Finally rugby is go!
The RFU has given the go ahead for graduated return to rugby. Each age group will be able to offer a return to training from the 29th March.
Whilst there is the option to offer inter club matches, the Club’s opinion is that this is not sensible until at earliest the next stage (26th April). This gives us time to get skill and fitness levels back up prior to competitive play. The decision to play matches will be taken at each year group level with full engagement with parents.
Please talk to your coaches if this is something you are concerned about; it is not obligatory and your views are vital. Finally there may be the exciting option to lengthen the season for youth sides. We will let you know more when we do!
I thank you all for your patience and tolerance this season. On behalf of the club and Committee I hope you and your families are well and I look forward to seeing you (finally!) back on the pitches.
